About White Duck Outdoors
Building outdoor gear that's rugged enough for the backcountry, comfortable enough for family camping, and stylish enough for glamping.
Our Story
White Duck Outdoors was founded in 2017 with a simple mission: build outdoor gear that's rugged enough for the backcountry, comfortable enough for family camping, and stylish enough for glamping. We started as a small team of outdoor enthusiasts who believed that canvas tents shouldn't be a compromise—they should be durable, weatherproof, and easy to set up for campers of all skill levels.
Today, we're proud to be one of the leading U.S. brands for premium canvas tents and accessories. From our headquarters in the Pacific Northwest, we design every product with one goal in mind: help you reconnect with nature, with family, and with yourself.

Everything you need to know about tent accessories
-
All accessories in this collection are designed by White Duck Outdoors and are compatible with the corresponding tent models. The Fly Sheet - Alpha Wall Tent and Canvas Porch - Alpha Wall Tent are made specifically for Alpha Wall Tents in sizes ranging from 8'x10' to 16'x24'. The Bell Tent - Fly sheet, Ground Tarp, Awning for Bell tents, and Avalon Half 1/2 Inner Tent are designed for Regatta, Avalon, and other White Duck bell tents. If you're using a different brand, we recommend checking the product specifications or reaching out to our customer service team to confirm compatibility before purchasing.
-
Size selection depends on your tent model and dimensions. For Wall Tent accessories (Fly Sheet and Canvas Porch), match the accessory size to your tent size—for example, a 10'x12' wall tent requires the 10'x12' fly sheet or porch. For Bell Tent accessories, options are available in 10' (3M), 13' (4M), 16.5' (5M), and 20' (6M) to match your bell tent diameter. The Awning is available in sizes that fit 10', 13', 16.5', 20', and 23' bell tents. When in doubt, measure your tent's dimensions and refer to the size options listed on each product page.
-
While your canvas tent is pre-treated for water resistance, a rain fly sheet is a relatively inexpensive investment that can add years to your tent's life. It provides essential protection against rain, snow, UV rays, and debris like tree sap and bird droppings—especially important given the varied climate conditions across the US, from Pacific Northwest rain to Southwest sun. A ground tarp creates a barrier between your tent floor and the ground, protecting against moisture, sharp rocks, and rough terrain. Many campers consider both non-negotiable essentials, no matter the tent style. Think of them as insurance for your tent investment.
-
Setup is straightforward and doesn't require specialized tools. The fly sheet anchors to the same stake points as your tent, so no extra equipment is needed. The awning comes with heavy-duty galvanized steel poles, pegs, and adjustable UV-resistant reflective guy ropes. For detailed guidance, White Duck provides assembly instructions for most accessories—the Inner Tent, for example, includes a downloadable PDF guide. If you run into any trouble, our customer service team is available to walk you through it.

The golden rule for canvas accessories: never store them wet. Even minor moisture can lead to mold and mildew growth, which will damage the fabric over time. Before storing, make sure the accessory is completely dry—if you have to pack up in the rain, set it up to dry as soon as you get home. Use the Tent Storage Bag (available for Regatta, Avalon, and Alpha models) to keep your accessories organized and protected during the off-season. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and avoid covering with plastic sheeting, which traps moisture and prevents airflow.
